Our reclaiming process for all our recycled wood involves more than just buying and selling old wood. We try as much as possible to reclaim wood locally ourselves. Otherwise, all of the wood that we reclaim is trucked to our yard in large shipments rather than small loads to conserve fuel.

We know our sources and always ensure wood is reclaimed in a way that honours people and the environment. All of the nails and other metals pulled from the lumber is recycled. All of the small wood scraps are used to heat our facility. All of the wood chips from moulding are sold for livestock bedding. 90% of our reclaimed lumber is local material and complies with LEED Canada standards and you are eligible for extra LEED points if you are within 500 miles of Winnipeg.

We do our best to ensure that the beauty and strength of this old timber is reclaimed in a environmentally sensible fashion, and given the ability to shine in the way that only this wood can.
